University Park, PA — On Friday, July 13th the State College Spikes will take on the Oneonta Tigers, New York Penn League Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. As part of the festivities surrounding the game, former Penn State All-American Blair Thomas will be in attendance and will sign autographs for fans on the concourse throughout the game.
Thomas was a member of the 1986 National Championship team, and was named first-team All-American following the 1989 season. He finished his career second on the Nittany Lions‘
all-time rushing list with 3,301 yards, just 97 yards shy of Curt Warner’s record, with 21 touchdowns. He was also the first player to rush for more than 1,400 yards in two seasons, a feat he accomplished in 1987 and 1989…
