“I cried like a baby for about 10 minutes,” Davis said. “My dream had come true. Playing professional baseball has been my goal since I was about 5 years old.”

Davis is living that dream with short-season Class A State College and flashing intriguing potential as he is hitting .248 with seven homers, 15 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 38 games. He leads the Spikes in both home runs and steals.
