The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced the Opening Day roster for the 2007 State College Spikes.
This year’s squad consists of 13 players who were selected in the 2007 First Year Player Draft that was held a week ago, 11 players who appeared in the New York-Penn League last season and four players who spent the season under the leadership of current Spikes manager Turner Ward in Bradenton during the 2006 campaign.
